Feeling Thankful

I always love this time of year and helping the students learn how thankful we should be for everything we have all year.

Today we shared our "I am thankful for" writing. The kids did great work, look for them to come home today.
Below is what I shared with the students about what I am thankful for.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and if you are traveling, may you have safe travels.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Help the High School Band....

By viewing this video that a Burlington High Schooler created, we can help them win brand new band instruments for the school!

All you have to do is watch it. They need to get to 5,000 views!

We are Collecting Food Pantry Donations...

Ms. Bannon & Mr. Peterson are holding a food drive. Please help us support the Burlington Food Pantry by bringing in a non-perishable food item. I will have a box in my classroom starting tomorrow, Nov. 19 until Nov 26th. I have not informed the 1st graders yet, but will first thing in the morning.

Also, PLEASE be sure to send your children to school with outdoor winter clothing. We do go out to recess everyday unless there are conditions that are unsafe.
It was quite chilly out there today and it's only going to get colder.

Thank you!!

Unfortunately we do no have any sprouts in our pumpkins yet but Mrs. Farrell an Mrs. Burnham both do so we are hopeful!
